have to wait five minutes because of the outdated league client

i was gonna play some normal draft pick and when i joined a room i noticed i couldn't type anything and i noticed i was still logging onto chat service. So i gotta wait for five minutes because the league client screwed me lol. I just like to point out that isn't the league client still very very very outdated by now? p.s. i'm not mad so before you post telling me it's not a big deal i don't care that i have to wait five minutes, sometimes i just wonder if a third of the reason people dc or leave is because of riot and not them.
