Unable to lock in bans

I just tried to que up for ranked but each time I couldn't lock in bans and ended up getting kicked.

I've had the same problem for a very long time. Does the timer appear next to your name to indicate it's your turn? For me it doesn't, so sometimes I don't even know I'm about to lose LP! It's the suspense that makes this game so gosh darn great. :)
