This is an hard-earned win with my duo and the other team got loss prevented. Meanwhile i have a +8lp and my duo got +5lp. What is this? happens twice now. Just because there is a problem with login in doesnt mean there is a problem with LP calculations

Unfortunately, that's how loss prevented works. The losing team doesn't lose any LP, but the winning team only gains around half of the LP they would normally gain.

but what triggers the loss prevented thing? this is pretty bad tho,it happens to me two days this week. i got demoted cause of that. i got 8 LP when i win, the other team got loss prevented and when i lose i got -20 LP and then demoted

Loss prevented only happens when Riot pushes the "magic button," so to speak, and as far as I know, they only do so when they have a huge server wide issue going on the negatively affects a large amount of players. From my experience, these issues are mainly connection issues where a large majority of players are having trouble staying connected to the game or even getting connected in the first place.
