Xayah still vulnerable to Fear while ulted

Is it intentional? It can't be, right? (Edit: Apparently she becomes untargetable). And the result is extremely buggy looking.

Nocturne fear-chained me and to avoid it I ulted when it was about to proc. Then it proc'd mid-ult, and I got stuck in air, slowly falling through the landing part of the ult animation, during which I was COMPLETELY VULNERABLE. I stayed in stasis like that for about 2 seconds and Noc killed me before I could reach the floor.
