attempting to reconnect forever

game suddenly freezes, ping spikes, goes back down to 500 after a while. but I never regain control. only way to continue playing the current game is by closing and restarting league of legends.exe from lol client. this will waste about 1 min or so and have an impact on the game development. just today every game i played I experienced this disconnect at least 3 times. so I wouldn't be exaggerating when i say I got disconnected at least 20 times while playing league today. and every other day.
