Auto club removal?

I have a friend who is not in the club, and cannot be added, he was my 5th person, now i dont have my tag to show up next to my icon in champ select, and this just happened in the last few hours, and he hasnt even logged on in a few weeks, why can i not re add him or anything, and no, he didnt leave the club on his own, did rito cause this?
