Champ Select Chat

So this morning, I q'd up for a game and when I was in Champ Select, I tried to talk to my teammates, anything I typed and sent would go through, YES I PRESSED ENTER. I had also noticed that by my name and another teammate's name, it said Null. Once the game started and we were heading to lane I brought this up with the team and, said teammate with null next to their name as well, told me that they too couldn't send anything in Champ Select Chat. Maybe this is a bug??
