League client is suspended?

1. When I started the client, avast told me it was a virus, so I created an exception
2. I played a game but I had to restart the game launcher because it was unresponsive
3. When I got into my second game it was unresponsive once again so I tried to restart it
4. but my client was unresponsive too so I tried to restart it (in regular and administrator mode)
5. it didn't work (it was unresponsive again)
6. I saw in the task manager that the application was "suspended" and used 0% of my cpu
7. I checked to see if avast's exception was still there and it was
8. There's nothing in the virus chest either

pls help
