Viktor Q + Windwall bug

So, I just played a game as Yasuo against a Viktor. And I noticed that when I used Windwall against Viktor's Q, the Q is blocked by the wall but Viktor still gets his Shield. Is that a bug or intended? If not intended please look into it because I am sure Yasuo players are frustrated enough playing against a Viktor. Thank you for Reading. Riot PLS

Active: Viktor shields himself for 2.5 seconds, deals magic damage to the target enemy, and Discharge modifies his next basic attack within 3.5 seconds

It's not a bug.
