Unspecified error. Patch 6.16

So i am downloading league after about 3 months and everytime i get this annoying error. I have tried all sorts of fixes such as deleting solutions folder, changing regions. disabling firewall, giving admin privileges, reinstalling from scratch, using hrt, EVERYTHING. I even sent a ticket to riot, but didn't get any replies for 3 days. I just wanna play league of legends man. Please help me out. Also i would add that normal downloads and even other game updates in steam work just fine with no hassle whatsoever. So this has to be a problem in the client itself and not the connection.

I am having the same problem. I will open League up and it will start downloading the update, but it immediately starts the download at 33%, and then once it hits 60 files, it tells me that there was an unspecified error. I have been up-to-date with every patch for the past couple of months and I just wanted to play before college started back up. Let me know if you find a solution to this problem. I also sent an error report to Riot about this as well describing it to them. Best of luck.

So I had this problem and it ended up being that my SSD was too full. So if your hard drive is too full that may be your issue.

I had the same issue as everyone here, but I believe I found the solution.

Delete the lol_air_content folder, this is the file path (for most people) to it : C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\

Its an old thread but the solution appears to be the same, worked for me! Hopefully I helped someone here

That actually a quick reply time. Whenever i sent one in, it would take 5 days to a week
