Issues getting into game

So I patched for 9.21 and tried to load into a norm rift game. I kept getting sent to the reconnect page and was clicking it, only for it to not work. I next tried aram just to see, and got the same thing. Forced re-patch with hextech repair toold and went to a practice vs bots game. Same thing.

Sent a bug report to Riot but an curious if anyone else has experienced this issue yet, or if its just me.

Getting the exact same thing and it literally just ruined my morning. I just wanted to play one quick game and dip, and it throws me this BS.

I have this same issue. Have only tried TFT so far but it's good (or bad) to know it happens with SR games as well.

omg this same thing is happening to me, to get this straight, I have LoL installed in a My Documents Folder rather than have it installed in the default C:\Program Files (x86) directory. Don't know if this is affecting me tbh... but I have had this issue for over a year now and it works every 5-7 retries I can load the game. However now with this patch 9.21 I can't seem to ever load a game -.- just lost 20 LP due to this... RIOT PLZ HELP!!

same here.cant load in any games or practice tools,always sends me in the reconnect page, been like this for 2 days now since i downloaded the new patch

I've been having the same problem. Reinstalling hasn't helped. Can't play at all.

I've been having this exact same issue since yesterday. Won't connect to any games regardless of gamemode and sends me to the screen with the "reconnect" button. I've also noticed that while the game is still going on and I'm desperately trying to close and reopen the client, I never have to log back in at any point, even though I'm pretty sure I never have my username/password auto saved. It automatically sends me back to that same screen. However, my PBE account works just fine. Super weird.

Yoo Riot, would like to hear some kind of update of this. It keeps going on for much longer I'm just gonna drop the game entirely. Not worth the effort if the support team isn't even goin to respond and issue suggestions.

Well at least i know i'm not the only one with this problem. Maybe if enough people have it Riot might actually do something. When they fix it i expect all my anniversary rewards, all my lost LP back, and an official apology. This is unacceptable.

I'm having the same problem, it won't let me join the game after champ select and doesn't let me reconnect

Yo exact same thing has happened to me after I updating. Reading these comments, it looks like a lot of other people have been having this same issue as well. I tried in ranked and blind pick and it doesn't work. Riot send help I just finished my midterms I wanna play some league :(

This has been happening to me over the last few weeks. I normally have to click reconnect 5-8 times and in that time, my time has normally surrendered at that point and I lose LP or get demoted.

Process:

  1. I enter ranked game, ban champ, pick my champ, timer reaches 0
  2. Loading screen doesn't even load, I just receive a simple error message asking me to create a crash dump (which I do, but I can't view the file in it's location even)
  3. I return to the client after pressing yes/no on the crash dump request, and reconnect is available, which I click
  4. Repeat step 2 and so forth... Really disappointing that this hasn't been fixed with this latest patch yet... [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Also: I have tried repairing my client, uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting my computer multiple times already.

I have been having the same issue since patch 9.21 I tried the Hextech repair tool with a force repatch and since then it gives me the message "Patching failed and we're not sure why. Please restart the client to try patching again. (Error code 004)". I have made a more in depth post, but it is essentially the same issue as you described above.

It happened to me yesterday, I thought I was just me. I played with my friends and it worked perfectly fine before the patch rolled in. i spent 3 hours following the recommendations given to me by riot and the support tab on the website just to end up back where i started. My laptop is in great condition and my internet is great, I don't understand why this is happening. This is very annoying to deal with and I lost interest in playing now since i can't even do the practice tool. Hope this gets NOTICED and FIXED. I waited like an hour for an "expert" to help me, but no reply.

Can we get an update to this from anyone on the support team? and is there anyway that I can get my low priority queue lifted as a result of league crashing? I won't even complain about all the LP I lost trying to get into plat before the season ends, but at the least could I have low priority queue lifted?

UPDATE: OCT 25 still with issues ever since patch 9.21 rolled out, Haven't played a game, I think Plat dreams for this season are not going to get done this season :(
