Black Screen instead of Loading Screen, can't connect

Whenever I attempt to play the game, it will not let me pass the loading screen. Instead of the normal loading screen, I get a black screen that won't go away until I force quit the game. I have a friend that had the same issue but fixed it by running as an administrator. However, I'm on a Mac and am unable to do that since I am already the administrator and cannot specifically run as administrator. I have re-installed the game several times, as well as used the repair tool and the repair tool that Riot sent to me when I reached out to them at player Support. Unfortunately, no one else is posting about this issue so I thought that I would bring it up for someone at Riot to hopefully see. If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to leave them below.
