[Gameplay] Warwick Q&W bug after ult

So I just played a ranked game in my promo series as Warwick and sporadically after I ult the Q often did not work (have to click 3-4 times) or rarely but just as annoying the W did not work (literraly had to click 10-15 times). I noted I had plenty of Mana so it wasnt an issue and after a couple of failed attemps and confirming with other players we realized it was indeed a bug.

This caused us to lose the game since serveral times the enemy got away did not die. This should be a loss prevented at most. Is there anything Riot can do?

How to reproduce:

  1. ult an enemy
  2. proceed to Q or W

TL;DR : Warwick Q and W do not work after he ults (Q more often than W)

Hey there Lord Luminous,

First of all, thanks for the bug report and the reproduction steps! I can definitely confirm that this is happening.

Something important to note however is that the spell IS STILL CASTING, this is just a problem with the UI updating to show that the spell is on cooldown.

I've gone ahead and let our engineers about this.

I get it every-time I try to queue up Q after an ult.

I started paying a bit more attention to it recently and I noted that Q actually does go off, but during the ult. As in, a huge chunk of health disappeared from the enemy in the middle of my ult (3rd hit in) and then IO couldn't use my Q for x time after even though it looked like it's off cool-down.

I can try and reproduce this with video if anyone wants confirmation

Riot has known about this bug for 2 months, and gave us an "oops we forgot" like 2 weeks ago.

They don't care, basically.

I haven't even tried to reproduce this bug, but for some reason i feel that your q/w actually go off while you're ulting, because of the fact that they dont "work" for the approximate amount of time they should be on cooldown if you did indeed use the ability while ulting. whether it does damage or not, i cannot say. good luck with sorting out this bug :)

The bug that I saw is that if you get a mid-ult Q or W (which is a different problem >_>) it locks you out of both skills until the one you cast is off of cooldown... but it doesn't display that your abilities are on cooldown.

I haven't seen it too often (I don't really play Warwick, though, so it may be the fact that I don't have skill with playing him).

Warwick is in the top 20 most played champs in league currently and somehow this bug has not been fixed for months. I get this bug at always the worst times. Riot, can you fix this already?

I think the issue is as follows - if you use Q on an enemy during the ult (and ult doesn't kill them) this happens:

  1. Q deals damage to the enemy and heals Warwick right after ult ends, albeit no animation of Warwick using it is shown (not sure if enemy gets the Q as a death reason in the death recap)
  2. It does not /visibly/ go on cooldown. The icon stays lighted as if the ability is ready to use, but it actually was used and is on cooldown.

I did not have any problems with W.

ive noticed it only bugs out when you try to use W before your ulti has ended or during your ulti.
