Choosing Smite Bug

I had a perfect connection, and 15 seconds left to choose summoners. Every time i tried to click smite it would just say unable to choose. (a ranked game btw so I lost points). Give me my points back

I know it wont happen, but it is no excuse! It would not allow me to select smite and I don't know why lol
