Mac touchpad issue

So basically I'm in a match right now and I'm playing on Mac since I left my regular pc at home which works perfectly fine at loading and playing the game. The problem I'm experiencing is the fact that I cannot move yet I can do everything else (e.g buy items, move the screen to view other parts of the map, etc.) I don't know what to do at this point. I'm really frustrated as to why the touchpad won't work when it works perf fine for everything else. Please help I don't want to get a dodge timer :((
