4.17 Patch Bugsplat crash

Since the 4.17 patch I have been unable to play LoL. I joined a ranked game after the patch and the following happened: The screen was black during the loading phase and all I could see was the cursor. The game loaded and the graphics were SO messed up, the screen was mostly black and all that I could see clearly was parts of the hud display. The rest was black although the audio was working normally. This caused me to leave a ranked game. Since then I have uninstalled and re-installed LoL and to test it out I tried to join the tutorial just to see if the game would load. As soon as the game loads, it crashes with a bugsplat report. It has done this all 5 times I have tried a tutorial. I don't dare try a ranked game because I am sure it will crash again. Basically since the 4.17 patch, LoL is not working at all whereas before the patch LoL ran perfectly every time I played it. What can be done to help fix this situation? Remember, I have already uninstalled and re-installed it, so that did not fix the issue.

System specs?

If you honestly reinstalled freshly then Hardware or Drivers are to blame. And since there's multiple people with this problem it should be easy to narrow down if provided.

A lot of Mac users are having this issue, not sure if relevant. Obviously you're not using a Mac but I was under the impression up until now that it was Mac related.

I dont understand how Hardware or Drivers could be the cause of the problem when LoL has run smoothly every time I have ever played it, through every patch and update. How can one patch (4.17) all of a sudden cause the game to completely fail and not work in the slightest. To me, that doesn't make sense. I have an older Alienware Laptop that has hardware that is as good as some cheaper current models so my computers ability to handle the game is not the issue. It's just frustrating when after a re-install it still doesn't work.

I tried to attach some screen shots to my original post of what it looks like when I get into an actual pvp game. I hope they can be seen by others. Here is another just in case
