Joining a blind pick game, and failing to load in.

My friend and I were grouped and queuing for a normal blind pick match. When champ select was supposed to load, my friend was on champ select and i was stuck on a black screen. Being forced to close out my game, i had to wait the time penalty for dodging. I know it's not a large penalty, but it is still an inconvenience. I don't think my computer is the problem, because i have a brand new PC and this is the first time this has happened ever. There may not be a solution, but if there is, i just wanted you guys to know. Thank you, and see you in the Rift.
