Game crashes my entire computer

First, I've noticed a LOT of posts about how 5.14 is crashing Macs. This is not one of them. I run Windows 8 and a couple hours ago, I restarted my computer due to Windows Update. Launched League and a small patch was waiting for me (not 5.14, I've already done some Butcher's Bridge). After it finished, I logged in and my computer completely froze. Tried the ol' Ctrl+Alt+Del to no effect, so I hard rebooted it item 3070 After starting League up again, tried the same process, got the same result. So on the next reboot, I tried repairing. After quite a wait, League was ready to launch again. Logged in, complete freeze once again. Now I turned to more drastic measures. I uninstalled League and reinstalled it. Still crashes my computer. So the final step is to report to you what has transpired and hope that this issue gets resolved quickly. I'm really looking forward to more of the Bilgewater event!

happened to me too, and I let it sit and it unfroze but I was getting black screen in the background and right after champ select whenever I started a game. Rito is "working on it." I just expect a short "Your problem not ours fgts, sucks to suck bai" XD but thats just me.

Same thing here -.- windows update + lol patch 5.14 = mega crash!!! pls riot, solve the damn problem!!!

exact same thing. i usually have skype running and some background programs too. I went into my task manager and shut down just about everything, and opened league and no crash.
