League of Legends Server Disconnect

Hey Riot, me and my 3 friends were just playing a game, and about 3 mins into the game, me and two of my other friends were not able to move. We were able to see everything happening but we couldn't move. We were able to move for a few seconds after, but then it happened again and after 30 seconds or so we just were attempting to reconnect. This continued for the whole game, and as I had one friend who didn't disconnect, we were able to hear what was happening in the game. As of writing this, the game has ended but I am still trapped inside the game attempting to reconnect. One of my other friends has reconnected and was able to witness the end of the game, while the other friend just quit the game instead of trying to reconnect. What happened?
