Got D/C'd can't rejoin?

I just got disconnected from an ARAM game in the middle of it. I waited for it to reconnect but it was taking a while so I left so I could reconnect it via client but it didn't give me the option to. The game just started and I don't see it in my match history. I'm able to queue up for another match (which is what I did since I can't rejoin my old game) but this bothers me. Did this happen to anyone else?

I should also note that my internet is fine since I was still able to immediately just queue up for another game and I was able to load websites while I was reconnecting.
