Anyone else getting frame drops when the new Nidalee skin appears on the rift?

I was playing a game with some of my friends, and all of a sudden, I get some frame drops when I see the enemy Nidalee with the new Challenger Nidalee skin. I was thinking that it may had been just my computer slowing down, but my friends were getting frame drops as well. Any reason behind this? Please respond.
