illaois w sometimes reset itself if u spam it

no it doesnt reset the cooldown, but it happend to me alot and when i try to spam my w on the mouse to hit an enemy illaoi will spaz really weird and it wont hit the enemy. its kinda annoying cuz i died to this alot since my tentacles wont hit
