[Gameplay] Tryndamere Bug: Undying Rage
TL;DR I killed Tryndamere despite his ultimate.
A few games ago, I was playing a ranked game. I was playing as top-lane Garen (on the Blue Team). My top-lane opponent was Tryndamere (on the Red Team). Both of us ran Flash and Teleport, though neither summoner spell seemed significant. At one point, I turret-dove Tryndamere under his tier-2 top-lane turret. I was doing well enough that I felt I could turret dive him easily, even taking his ult into account.
Here's what happened. I pushed the creep wave, started attacking his turret, then turned on him as soon as he started attacking me. I used the standard Q W E on him. When he realized I was fighting back, he spun northwest into the brush near his turret and ulted. I saw the Undying Rage animation and continued my assault undeterred.
Undying Rage is supposed to last 5 seconds, which often feels like forever for an opponent (me). But in this instance, it hardly lasted 2 seconds before Tryndamere died. We both noticed it, because Trynd complained in all chat afterward that "did you just kill me through my ult?" I responded, "yeah, i thought that was weird too. I hear fiddles is bugged too. He can insta ult."

HYPOTHESIS
Personally, I suspect it was an interaction with thunderlord's decree. Garen can proc it while spinning (Judgement; Garen's E). I can attest because I'd been proc'ing it all game. But I can't really be sure if it was definitively the cause of the bug, because I wasn't really expecting Tryndamere to die so quickly. I was planning to finish him with my ult, but I never got to use it in this instance.
