[Client] Logo shows, but no client

When I try to start up LoL, either from the .exe or shortcut (both as admin) the League of Legends logo will show up, but nothing follows. Looking in task manager processes tab shows that the Client and the Patcher are running, and continue to do so for about 30 seconds before both of them disappear from the processes.

Update: The problem started happening on the release of the new patch, I tried doing a system restore to a week ago, and that did not work. I have also tried restoring the game to a previous version, and even re-installing. Thus far no solution to be found. I have also tried several fixes stated online such as: Restarting the client with Avast Antivirus turned off, Trying to launch the game from several different paths within the Riot folder, renaming the System32/drivers/etc file "hosts" , and changing the "hosts" context. I have tried restarting the client with different screen resolutions. Running as an admin, changing the compatibility mode, and manual re-installation.
