Hextech Chests

The Hextech thing said that people can only receive one box for each champion when scoring an S. When looking through my champion list, I notice that it shows my highest grade with the champion and a box, grey or orange, in the corner when I hover over the champion icon. The little box will be orange when I've gotten an S, grey when I haven't. Okay, so when I hover my mouse over Ahri, it says my highest grade with her is an A, but the box is orange. Does that mean I've gotten a box with her in a party? Can I not receive a box with her now? I haven't tried testing to see if I get a box with her after scoring an S, but I may later. Is it a glitch? Is anyone experiencing this?
