PATCH 4.20: Clicking minions = lag and Red/Blue Boxes -help please-

The provided link shows the image of my problem.

Ever since this patch, I lag when I click minions or champions. In addition, such minions and champions have a blue/red box around them. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? Is there a way to fix this issue on my end?

Note: I already close the LoL Client in task-manager during a game. I also use Gamebooster with limited processes running at a given time. I have EVERYTHING set at a low setting, including the anti-alaising and smooth camera.
