Viktor hex core upgrade bug

ok. so i was playing viktor in ranked the other day and i was preforming pretty decently. But when i got my final hex core upgrade i upgraded my q then pressed the level up so i can put a point in it before upgrading my w then it counted for 2 upgrade points and a reg point. point is i couldn't upgrade w at all for the rest of the game.
