At 1am Central time on the NA server, my 5 man had to remake a game due to one of our members computer crashing. We waited for 3 mins in the base and preformed a /remake. However upon the game ending, I had lost 17 lp as a Leaver despite voting in the remake vote. If I misunderstood the rules of remake than please ignore this message, however I was under the impression that I wouldn't be penalized for remaking my matches.

If you sit in fountain and don't move for a long time, you too will be marked AFK and receive a penalty. You should go to lane and play the game normally until the remake becomes available. What if your teammate returned, for instance? There is no benefit to waiting in base until the remake becomes available.

sounds like a bug since you shouldn't have lost any points from remake, unless you were the one who didn't connect to the game. basically you didn't misunderstood how it should work.
