Now a part of 5 clubs while 3 club limit still exists

Had 2 invites to clubs sitting in my notification box for awhile now. Didn't accept or decline, so they stayed even If I re logged. Come back to find clubs reenabled, now part of the clubs I was in and the clubs was I invited to. Isn't clientbreaking to my knowledge, but found it odd.
