Champ Select new client(Cant see or select champs)

So I just upgraded to the new client and two games in a row I couldnt select a champion for myself to choose. It was fine for banning champs but when it became my turn to pick my champ I got a blank screen and couldnt pick anyone even when searching for them by name. Now I have a 20 minute wait timer and this is bullshit. This never happened to me with the old client. Wth, how can you release something that won't even allow someone to play.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?
