GP Illaoi interactions

so there are a couple interactions between Illaoi and GP that really aren't working in at least the way I think they should, the first one might have been intentional, but the second one really feels weird in game, so here's #1: tentacles>oranges. basically, eating an orange doesn't cleanse being a vessel, this is the one that I could see how it makes sense in game since i guess being soulless isn't really a disabling effect, but sorta feels like that should be an ingame mechanic to counter Illaoi, giving players options besides take cleanse, run, or die. here's #2: tentacles>Bullets. you can't shoot tentacles, this feels really weird in game, and one of the drawbacks to illaoi is giving your lane opponent free cs, so it just doesn't make sense that GP can't use his Q, which is basically a ranged "melee auto attack" and feels awkward in game when you can't just shoot an inactive/ half health tentacle to kill it, or just shoot one multiple times to kill it from a safe distance.

so if #1 is the way it was meant to be, I get it, but i feel like #2 here is a glitch, and if it isnt, its a mechanic that just doesn't make sense and I feel as though you should consider changing it, thanks Riot.

i dont think you can cleanse or qss illaoi's spirit test so it doesnt matter

anyway i think you should never play gp to illaoi

when i think of playing against illaoi, i think of quinn, jarvan, voli, singed, and fiora

they all in their own small way win against illaoi, either by being too mobile to catch (fiora/quinn), too far away to hit (quinn), lots of nice poke (jarvan), nice all ins (voli/singed), or just straight up makes you unable to land any skillshot (quinn)

yeah i think quinn is the best counter here

I think #2 isnt a glitch or something because you cant q teemo's shrooms or jhin's traps too. I think they don't really count as an enemy (like towers?).

Gangplank's Oranges should not be able to remove being a vessel, as it's only meant to remove crowd control effects. Cleanse shouldn't be removing it either as again, it's only meant to remove crowd control effects as well as summoner spell debuffs, and being a vessel is not a crowd control effect. I'm not sure how QSS interacts with being a vessel though.

As for attacking the tentacles, they can only be hit by actual auto attacks or empowered auto attacks, like Jax's W or Wukong's Q, but not by abilities that apply on-hit effects, like Gangplank's Q or Ezreal's Q.
