He disconected so his armor and MR spiked up, that's why he's not taking any damage

Disconnected players get tons of bonus MR/Armor so that they won't die in instances like this. He'd lose that bonus when he reconnects.

There was an actual bug with how it interacted with , since they use to do damage based on your Armor and MR. Someone would buy it, place it, intentionally disconnect, and the Void Spawn would deal tons of damage to towers because of the bonus MR and Armor given to make sure the DC'ed player got to base safely.
