Blitz pull didn't work?

I was playing a bot game with a friend, and I pulled the Ashe bot. My hook landed, and pulled her maybe 1/4 the distance, then she kind of just vibrated for a second, and stayed there. There was nothing between us, no minions, terrain etc. Weird bug?
