Tahm Kench Tongue Lash Devour combo+Heimerdinger's turrets bug

This happened to me yesterday, about 10 times in-game. When I used the combo of Tongue lash and Devour to steal one of an enemy Heimer's turrets, the turret would be flicked backwards as normal, disappear into Tahm's mouth for a split second and then appear, unharmed, at Tahm's feet. It's just annoying for when I'm trying to eliminate turrets, as they appear at Tahm's location and keep shooting, effectively relocating the turret.
