Trouble Launching Games

So I factory reset my desktop last night to get rid of a few years worth of unnecessary storage, and went straight to re-installing Chrome, LoL, and Steam. I made sure to update my OS and DirectX fully. I have been encountering alot of problems launching any game. It seemed at first to strictly be a DirectX error, as when champ select ended and it would've launched the loading screen I got the, "an unknown DirectX error has occured, and League of Legends cannot start". I've restored my os to its factory setting and went through everything again as the other solutions i found online weren't working; eg( Going into regedit and deleting DirectX file so I could reinstall it, deleting and repairing LoL client files, Disabing/Enabling Driver). I can't seem to find a solution for my problem anywhere and I have a feeling it is connected to my other games not being playable. I already know that my computer can handle them as I have played them all prior to my factory reset. All of my drivers and OS are up to date. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
