Game Mode Bug in New Client:

I have the new client and when I try to play games with my friends in All For One- it doesn't allow to me join the invites. It says the mode is currently not available. Is there a loophole somewhere or do I have to keep downgrading to the legacy client every time I wish to partake in the game mode fun? Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
