Leaving chat room and could not return

Hey. Something strange happened during my waiting for entering in a new game. I still have the old client but I don't think this is the problem...when it said Match Found, i pressed join but it blocked here. My duo partner entered in the chat room but I did not, and then it glitched out so I had to close the client. I reopened it and my duo partner told me I was still waiting in the chat room to pick my champion. I logged in again, and it just directioned me in on the main page, I could join any queue again but never return to the chat room I was supposed to be in. Lately after the seconds expired, my duo partner told me that we were out, when I was already out on the main page for good minutes...I lost 3 points of my ranked points for nothing, I lose 3 points because you can't make your game function right, so I suffer from your mistake. Did this happen to someone else? I can't believe I'm so unlucky to happen this to me.
