Purchasing a Champ

So I went to go buy Gnar from the store and it said is Gnar who you want what ever and i hit yes and then all of a sudden it says congratulations on unlocking Zac. Uhhhhhhh what? so annoyed because i have no refunds left and have been saving for Gnar for some time and its much more difficult to get blue essence now to buy champs for free.
