Arcade Miss Fortune Love Tap Sound Bug - Reblip the Bloop

This bug has been in the game since Patch 5.23, and its continued existence is extremely detrimental to my gameplay experience.

  • Server: NA

  • Type of Bug: Sound effects

  • Description: Arcade Miss Fortune's passive, Love Tap, is supposed to have two sounds, a primary and an alternate. Blip, bloop. These were added in Patch 5.22. In Patch 5.23 (and every patch thereafter), the first sound stopped playing. Bloop, bloop. Reblip the bloop.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play Miss Fortune.

  2. Attack something, then attack something else.

  3. Blip, bloop. (Where is blip?)

  • Expected result: Blip, bloop.

  • Observed result: Bloop, bloop.

  • Reproduction rate: 100%

Dear Riot,

I have a google alert set up and was notified of this post. I hoped so much that it was a patch note for fixing the bug. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

I remember back when my son told me that Miss Fortune's auto attack sounds were broken when patch 5.23 came out (I think this was around 11 months ago?). I wasn't sure at first, but he showed it to me plain as day. It's surprising because I've recognized Riot's great sound design with so many characters.

Come on Riot, please make this happen! It would mean the world to me and my son (who is a Miss Fortune MissFortune main).
