It seems that alacrity gives you only +17 movement speed, I noticed this in a ranked games wanted to buy Alacrity to get that mad movement speed, i had 420 movement speed and bought alacrity and only had 437 after the purchase.

It would be nice if it showed you what your actual movement speed would be with the purchase then, rather than just the "flat" value before the cap takes place. I find it really confusing sometimes, especially when I buy items like lich bane and luden's echo, and my MS essentially goes unchanged. Do you know if these are currently stacking correctly? They're not supposed to be unique.
Kobold1 votesJust a thought but has there been any recent internal testing of removing the soft capping on ms? This of course would require some adjustments to champions with large ms boosts but would help with clarity.

This should be documented in a tooltip in the game somewhere. I think I played league for a year or something before I figured this out.
