Retrieving Data From Server/Black Champ Select Errors

When I try to play games ever since patch 5.8 I have issues where in queque it won't show me the "Accept/Decline" pop up at all, I'll stay sitting in queque for a few minutes. If I try to leave it starts "Retrieving Data From Server" and then spams my client with "Unknown Error" messages. I keep getting a queque dodger for this but it's not my fault. I also have an issue where if I do FINALLY get into champ select, I get this black screen and have to task manager close my client. If there is any fix I'd like to know. I've reinstalled and repaired but no luck. Black Screen
