EKKO BUG

So I believe this is a bug i encountered while messing around in a custom game with Ekko. After I purchased a rapid fire cannon, I began to proc RFC with my e ability. I found that if the damage from RFC is enough to kill a target (I did it on a minion), you would not dash to that target afterwards. So basically The RFC damage was granting you the killing blow and in turn you would not dash to that target, as you would remain at your original position. I tested it a few times and it stayed true with jungle monsters, caster minions, melee minions, and cannon minions. Please up vote so rito can see this.

Update: It seems to be a problem with kircheis shard so shiv may be affected by it as well

Update: The same thing happens with shiv. I get to proc it and does the damage to the nearby enemies but it does not make me dash.

Step 1: Buy static shiv, RFC, or the shard Step 2: Use your E ability while the item passive is charged to 100 Step 3: Use your E ability on a minion, monster, etc. when its health is low enough to just be killed by the ability passive

It's not a bug, it's a feature

The question is not why does this bug exist.

Its why do you have RFC on ekko.

Seriously though. Does this only affect ekko, or will it happen for other dash/damage AA spells like Hecarim.

I can see where this is considered a bug but here me out....its not really a bug. It's standard gameplay.

Ekko's blink is reliant on his autoattack. If the auto attack is cancelled then Ekko does not blink to the position of the target. Normally you can't cancel it manually (by pressing S) but if the target dies during the "windup" of the autoattack the attack will cancel and you will not blink to the target.

For some reason, it appears that Shard's passive damage applies INSTANTANEOUSLY whereas Ekko's attack damage has a very, very, short windup. The shock alone kills the target before Ekko attacks, ekko's basic attack has no target no, so it cancels, thus Ekko's blink is cancelled.

So if you try to blink to a target but an ally kills the target you should not blink to the target. Shard or no shard. I have had this happen to me a couple of times when I tried to blink to a ward to escape but our blitzcrank killed it first.

Maybe it is a bug, because this means that Ekko is applying on hit effects without actually hitting the target. Maybe test this with a item 3057 or its related items and see what happens.

So, why exactly were you building RFC on Ekko?

This happened to me half a year ago. Was playing Ekko with RFC in a ranked game and it actually procs on champions too.

if you cancel the auto fast enough it cancels the dash but not the animation
