Giving a unit an item at end of round when they are frozen can give it to the unit 'beneath' it

At the end of a round, when the units 'freeze' and you can no longer click on them, if you try to give a unit an item, it can instead give the item to the unit at that default position 'underneath' it.

For example (I haven't seen this exact case happen. For me, it happened with different units. I'm not sure if the type of units matter at all):

  1. A Varus is positioned at the bottom-left hexagon at the start of a round. He has room available in his inventory. A Pyke on your team is positioned elsewhere.
  2. During the round, the Varus moves or dies so that he is no longer taking up the bottom-left hexagon.
  3. Sometime after the bottom-left hexagon is available, the Pyke walks or jumps into it so that he is now occupying it.
  4. The round ends and the Pyke is still alive in the bottom-left hexagon. The units freeze for some duration so that you can no longer interact with them.
  5. You try to give the Pyke a Tear of the Goddess. The Tear seems to completely disappear from the board and the Pyke did not receive it.
  6. The round ends and your units respawn for the intermission phase.
  7. The Varus has the Tear of the Goddess that you tried to give to Pyke.
