TFT ITEM DISAPPEARS BETWEEN ROUNDS WHEN ATTACHED TO SOLD CHAMPION [GAMEPLAY]

Had a level 1 khazix. Portal opened between rounds to go to next round and I used the khazix to create a bloodthirster item before quickly selling him during portal jump. After portal jump khazix had been sold but bloodthirster item was missing. Could not find it on any champion or in item pool. Had to wait until after round was done and we all went to carousel before item showed up in my item pool.

TLDR:Selling champion right before or during portal animation leads to item despawn.
