Items turns into Abyssal Masks every time I reconnect into TFT after DC

This issue has been going on for a while, I thought riot would fix it by now. All my items turn into abyssal mask after I reconnect. I know that the items are still what they are, it's just that I have to hover on every single one of them. it's very frustrating because i can't make quick decisions to equip items like why is this still a problem? https://i.imgur.com/npNmz92.png[]

Wow that's about as shitty of a problem as when I played Neeko, morphed into my ally TF, and then got polymorphed by Lulu and stayed polymorphed the entire rest of the game. Legit couldn't auto, had only 400 hp, and had 600 movement speed all game. The enemy SUPPORT Lulu could 1 shot me with her q.
