Team Galaxy LAN TOURNAMENT WISCONSIN

ABOUT: Team Galaxy is an up and coming gaming organization with teams across multiple big hit titles. We are planning to host a LAN tournament in Wausau, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 14th. Grab some friends and experience a wonderful LAN event.. oh, and there’s cash prizes ;)

Important Information: Venue: Wausau West High School 1200 West Wausau Ave Wausau, Wisconsin 54401 When you get to the school, park anywhere you’d like. The “COMMONS” Doors will be used for entry, and you will be lead to one of the rooms in which you’ll be playing. This is a school environment, so please don’t continuously use profanity or any other innapropriate words/actions.

This tournament costs $30 per team for entry as there is a cash prize. See Prizes Each match will be a BEST OF THREE. This tournament is a DOUBLE ELIMINATION event. This means that if you lose a match, you still have a possibility to come back and win it all!

Bring your own keyboard, mouse and mousepad. Bring a headset(optional).

If your team is eliminated early, you are more than welcome to stay for party games afterwards such as in house customs and select game modes! ☺

Schedule * All times are in central time zone*: 12:00 PM – Check in STARTS. You MUST be here for check in. 1:30 PM – Check in ENDS. Any team not here will not be able to participate unless they communicate to us ahead of time that they will be late. 2:00 PM – Brackets are created and ready to begin the first round. The tournament will last as long as it needs to. RULES: Depending on severity of the offense, you may be immediately disqualified with NO REFUND.

1. No scripting, or any other 3rd party program.
2. No BM or harrassment. If warned once, you will be disqualified immediately on your next offense. This includes name caling, “BM”ing, and excessive use of profanity.
3. Coaching is not alllowed while the players are IN game. During champ select and loading screen, any coach or sub may talk to the players but the moment they are in game doing so is a violation of the rules and may lead to DQ.
4. Each team is allowed up to 2 substitute players. In the case of an emergency, a player may be substituted in. If a game is in place, the player must play on the non-substitutes account and must play the current game out. A remake will not occur if a sub is needed.
5. Each team is allowed a single coach outside of the 2 subs. This coach may help scout, ask questions, discuss strategies and talk them through champ select.
6. No open drinks are allowed near the computers. Please have resealable drinks and keep food to tables away from the computers.
7. DO NOT stand over the shoulder of another team while they are playing. Select games will be streamed at twitch.tv/sir_blood_blitz and will be casted by Dakota “Lyrium” Kannenberg and Josh “Curby” Patrick.
8. If your game is chosen to be streamed, do not start the match until each shoutcaster is ready.
9. If an in-game bug occurs, pause the game and notify an official. Under certain circumstances such as a gamebreaking error, a remake may be called if it would have made a major difference. This is subject to the rules and every player agrees to this.

Game Lobby: Tournament Draft Summoners Rift Allow Spectators Password will be The name of your team + The enemy teams Name without capitilization. Lobby name will be the sum of the seeds of both teams. This will be explained in person.
