Our team of 4 is currently opening up our application process to find a like-minded individual who is willing to learn and constructively work with the team. We are asking for relatively friendly, or at least level-headed players who know the difference between appropriate times for joking around and appropriate times to take things seriously. Rage and short tempers are completely out of the question. We try to play most nights at [EST 18:00 - 21:00], but may expand later on if we desire more practice.

How to Apply: To begin, we like to think that we are reasonably fair and human, just like you. If you invest time and effort, then we will reciprocate. Asking a question that can be answered simply by reading this post warrants the immediate termination of your application.

Who We Are: Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are a primarily Season Four Gold-Platinum-Diamond tier team; next season, we are aiming to compete in online tournaments (such as Go4LoL) as well as reach at least Platinum tier with our own merit in a timely fashion. Some of us already have experience in doing so. As a team, we have a strong emphasis on the importance of game analysis and lectures over recklessly rolling dice against the Queue.

Core Values of this Team: Listening to lectures and watching replays are to be expected; we will take into account your learning preferences [visual, audio, kinesthetic]. Sometimes there will be homework [5-10 minutes a week maximum, if at all] if we run out of time. You may be asked to have a notebook and pen set aside specifically for League of Legends. You will be conditioned and trained to eat, sleep and breathe League of Legends for the entirety of your stay. Further details available upon request during the interview process.

Application Process So how does the application process work?

If your strengths include being 'already mechanically proficient' or having a 'profound understanding of the game', then you close your browser and save yourself the effort in applying. You are already at what you perceive to be the top of things and thereby have no room for improvement. A shame.

2 - After an initial selection process, you will be contacted to schedule an interview which will focus on helping us get an idea about you as a player; watch for a random friend request from one of our interviewers only if you've made it thus far:

3 - After second round of selection, you may be subject to schedule another interview which will focus on helping us understand you; we will want to know the extent of your theoretical knowledge. The second stage includes an evaluation of performance by playing several games with us.

4 - After a third round of selection, you will be contacted one more time to discuss the pros and cons of your application. Perhaps you seem like a good fit but are missing something minor or have some personal reasons to sort out. The third contact will be to clear any impressions and give you opportunity to defend and appeal your case.

Interviews are conducted in an increasing difficulty order; we'd like to ask for you to watch your wording when it comes to answering questions. Many applicants [We have had experiencing processing as many as ninety applications within days] have commented that they wished they had been more prepared for them in advance. Use this information to your advantage.

Conclusion Our expectations are not high, if you think about it: we are looking for a fifth with an insightful outlook into a game that, to us, marries both fulfillment and dedication. We are looking for a teammate open to learning more about and embraces the game as a lifestyle that promotes character development, not just as a player, but as a human being; we are looking for a new friend whose desire to discover, analyze, and learn is limited only by their willingness to do so.

In short, we want a person who plays not to make a statement to the world, but to themselves.

Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: I am looking for a dedicated team as yourselves to grind with and become a great team with. Been looking for a serious team who wants to put effort into the game to strive to get better and better everyday.

Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: My name is Brandon, I am 21 years old and been playing League for almost 2 years now. Got into the game in Early 2013 and haven't stopped playing it since. I have been looking for a team to play with but after 1 day it seems like there is no schedule. Looking for that team that has the same mentality as me and just wants to grind.

Your preferred role: Jungle

Your Strengths: Ability to Read the Map and Understanding of what to do, Shotcalling with a Main Shotcaller in Late game if need be

Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: I've been skirting around the competitive side of lol for a few months and now seems like the best opportunity for me to try my hand at playing competitively.

Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: I am Andrew, I'm 16 years old and am currently attending high school. I have been playing lol since late season 2 but have only started really learning and trying to improve this season. I am no stranger to dedication and hard work, I played Football and Lacrosse on the high school teams which have very rigorous practice regiments. Only now this year I can't play due to an injury :/ so I won't have any other conflicting interests. I will be 100% dedicated to league.

Your preferred role: Jungle (more tanky CC/Support style junglers)

Your Strengths: Reading map movements, moving around wards, warding the enemy jungle, early counter ganks/pressure, trailing enemy jungler

Your Weaknesses: I "shut down" and go into farm mode if a few things go bad early easily, I get scared to take calculated risks because I might mess up, Inconsistent smiting ability, Choking in high pressure late game situations, Not confident in my own ability, Out of meta champions are my best (Nautilus, Volibear, Nasus, etc)

I used to play semi-professionally cs 1.6 and i wanted to be competitive in another game such as league. Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: I have been playing since pre season one but haven't taken the game seriously until the summer of 2014. currently in silver 2 but i have been playing in scrims with diamond friends as a sub jungler. I honestly don't care too much atm to grid out the soloq rank but will do if necessary. Your preferred role: main jungle/ can play mid but still need improvements in terms of champ pool Your Strengths: i have a fairly large champion pool in the jungle. have experience understanding map rotations and objective control from previous games and a fair amount in LoL. Your Weaknesses: Can tilt due to people stop communicating when behind or after a big team fight loss.

Summoner Name: Rammy (currently diamond 5 and peaked at low D2) Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: I'm looking for a team that can be serious and can be mature about improving. It seems like your team mentality is extremely ahead of the majority of random PuG teams that I've tried in the past. Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: My name is Ramsen (Just call me Ram/Rammy). I'm from Chicago and have been playing League since it's release (had about 2 weeks of beta). I'm currently working for the city of Chicago for the CTA in their Law department. Your preferred role: Jungler (Current meta of junglers REALLY fits my playstyle of the "assassin" junglers (Khaz, Panth, Vi). I've been consistenly trying to improve my Lee Sin game, just can't seem to transition to teamfighting correctly, but that's something I'm trying to learn/watch to improve. Your Strengths: The ability to realize my mistakes and critically think about how to improve on them/make sure in the future it doesn't happen again. Also, In-Game I try not to make any commentary on play calling/execution until post-game when emotions won't change the outcome of the game. Your Weaknesses: Calling out current position and telegraphing to lanes what I'm trying to do next. I've been improving on that by doing it in soloque to call camps/route into what the next objective is. Whether it's vision control, agressive warding, calling for a lane to push/harass or calling a gank time in the next ~30-40 seconds. Hopefully we can talk more and set up a "try-out" for the team. Really looking forward to hear back from you guys as you seem to be an awesome group to play with.

Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: I've been playing league for 2 years now, since the start of S3, and I've always been a casual player. But after having played this past 2 years, I felt like I want to achieve more from this game, learn more and improve myself as a league of legends player. I believe that joining a team and playing in one would be the most efficient in achieving my said goals.

Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: I'm 25 years old and recently completed graduate school. I've just moved to Houston for a job at a medical college and thus, I have more free time to play compared to when I was back in graduate school. I'm a plat 5 jungler, I believe that I could definitely get a higher rank, but I don't play ranked as much and has gotten a little complacent when I reached plat 5.

Your preferred role: Jungle (I can play jungle/top at a plat level and the other 3 lanes at mid gold-high gold level)

Your Strengths: Counter jungling, Strong objective control (buffs, barons, dragons, inhibitors), Can gank lanes/farm depending on needs of teammates (Usually just gets yelled at in soloq)

Your Weaknesses: I've never played in a competitive team setting before, thus I may be a little not used to the playstyle of my potential teammates. And I do go a little more on the aggressive, since I main Kha'zix, Jarvan IV and Lee Sin. I would initiate the fight some times and realize that my teammates in soloq did not back me up.
