Our team of 4 is currently opening up our application process to find a like-minded individual who is willing to learn and constructively work with the team. We are asking for a relatively friendly, or at least a level-headed player who knows the difference between appropriate times for joking around and appropriate times to take things seriously. Rage and short tempers are completely out of the question. We try to play most days at 22:00 (10 p.m.) EST.

Converted Timezones for your Convenience: Pacific Standard Time [GMT - 8:00]: 18:00 Mountain Time [GMT - 7:00]: 20:00 Central Time [GMT - 6:00]: 20:00

How to Apply: To begin, we like to think that we are reasonably fair and human, just like you. If you invest time and effort, then we will reciprocate. If you think you would be a good addition to the team, please add Laxatives in-game or post here with an application. Please recall that language was created as a means to communicate; any visually illegible and/or incomprehensible applications can and likely will be denied without further notice.

Asking a question that can be answered simply by reading this post warrants the immediate termination of your application.

Who We Are: Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are a primarily Season Four Gold-Platinum-Diamond tier team; next season, we are aiming to compete in online tournaments (such as Go4LoL) as well as reach at least Platinum tier with our own merit in a timely fashion. Some of us already have experience in doing so. As a team, we have a strong emphasis on the importance of game analysis and lectures over recklessly rolling dice against the Queue.

Core Values of this Team: Listening to lectures and watching replays are to be expected; we will take into account your learning preferences [visual, audio, kinesthetic]. Sometimes there will be homework [5-10 minutes a week maximum, if at all] if we run out of time. You may be asked to have a notebook and pen set aside specifically for League of Legends. You will be conditioned and trained to eat, sleep and breathe League of Legends for the entirety of your stay. Further details available upon request during the interview process.

Application Process So how does the application process work?

If your strengths include being 'already mechanically proficient' or having a 'profound understanding of the game', then you close your browser and save yourself the effort in applying. You are already at what you perceive to be the top of things and thereby have no room for improvement. A shame.

1 - Answer these questions carefully in a posted reply:

Application Questions Summoner Name: Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: Your preferred role: Your Strengths: Your Weaknesses:

2 - After an initial selection process, you will be contacted to schedule an interview which will focus on helping us get an idea about you as a player; watch for a random friend request from one of our interviewers only if you've made it thus far:

Application Reviewers: Godship

3 - After second round of selection, you may be subject to schedule another interview which will focus on helping us understand you; we will want to know the extent of your theoretical knowledge. The second stage includes an evaluation of performance by playing several games with us.

4 - After a third round of selection, you will be contacted one more time to discuss the pros and cons of your application. Perhaps you seem like a good fit but are missing something minor or have some personal reasons to sort out. The third contact will be to clear any impressions and give you opportunity to defend and appeal your case.

Interviews are conducted in an increasing difficulty order; we'd like to ask for you to watch your wording when it comes to answering questions. Many applicants [We have had experiencing processing as many as ninety applications within days] have commented that they wished they had been more prepared for them in advance. Use this information to your advantage.

Our Promise to You: Don't be stupid. Don't waste our time with a terrible application, whether it be lacking in detail or dripping with cop-out generalizations, and we won't waste yours - we guarantee it. Post an application you spent ten seconds on and we promise you that we will toss it in under a fraction of that time. We like to keep it fun on the Rift [trust us, there will be plenty of it] and professional on the forums.

Conclusion Our expectations are not high, if you think about it: we are looking for a fifth with an insightful outlook into a game that, to us, marries both fulfillment and dedication. We are looking for a teammate open to learning more about and embraces the game as a lifestyle that promotes character development, not just as a player, but as a human being; we are looking for a new friend whose desire to discover, analyze, and learn is limited only by their willingness to do so.

In short, we want a person who plays not to make a statement to the world, but to themselves.

Good luck and thank you for your time.

Summoner Name: Invasive species Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: All the hardwork everyone has to put in seems very satisfying. Seems like a good opportunity to grow with others Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: Started preseason of season 4, Graduating Highschool in 2 weeks and I only play league of legends Your preferred role:Marksman Your Strengths: Positioning in lane and teamfights. Your Weaknesses: I tend to make a lot of calls during laning phase when I should be more focused on csing and poking/trading

Summoner Name: TheMythinglink (No, I'm not Mike Tyson)

Why I'd Like To Join: I'd like to try my hand in competitive play, as I truly enjoyed it when I did it with a different team. They did not have the work ethic, however, to progress to the level that I would have liked them to.

About Me: **I'm 16 years old **and becoming a junior next year. I led a raid group at the age of 11 for World of Warcraft and an RBG group by 13. I started playing League of Legends midway through Season 3. I achieved a ranking of gold my first season, and have gone up one division each season, leaving me at Diamond 5 for my current ranking. I like Anime and all sorts of music. I participate in choir and sing baritone and bass.

My Preferred Role: ADC, of course. I'm curious as to why this question is here if the position of ADC is the only one available.

My Strengths: Since you already know I'm sound in game knowledge and mechanics, I won't waste your time. I feel one of my greatest strengths is my ability to salvage poor situations in order to get the most out of it. I'd also like to think that one of my strengths is being open to new ideas for builds and character strategies. I like to shot call, and do it well.

My Weaknesses: I am very ham, and get frustrated easily. I don't rage, but I get salty to the point where I impede my play until I chill out and make something happen. I play very passive aggressive and have a hard time adjusting my playstyle to my support. I have poor rotation skills from bot to mid, and only mediocre ones for dragon. I have a rough time sharing farm, even when my mid laner needs it. I need to get used to my shotcaller's decisions before they are accepted immediately by my mind. Mechanically, my main issue is my positioning for late game fights. The only champions I excel with positioning are Vayne and Twitch because of their ability to position more freely than most ADCs.

Summoner Name: SyKo Sanity Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: I am highly experienced in ranked 5's atmosphere and am looking for a serious ranked team to be a part of. Sadly though all of my previous teams collapsed, but I did gain the important experience I have now from those times. Especially by the format of your post I can see you guys are taking this seriously which shows promise.

Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: I am a 19 year old who has been playing League of Legends since season 1. I have been maining ADC since around early season 2. I never took ranked too seriously until around late season 3. After that I decided that I wanted to learn and improve. I am what you would call a hardcore gamer because I am dedicated. Sadly though I am platinum 1. I am trying my best to hit diamond 5. I thought I'd still apply whilst trying to obtain Diamond.

Your preferred role: ADC/Marksman

Your Strengths: I am quite good at knowing how to trade efficiently in lane. Such as scratch damage and knowing when to follow up and disengage in 2v2 fights. I also am profound in lane and minion manipulation, whether it be pushing to deny and siege or freezing to pressure and also deny. My champion pool is also very interchangeable for a variety of team comps. My team fighting positioning is also pretty stellar because I'm used to playing immobile ADC's. I am a great ADC but I am not daft. I understand I can always improve and this team will take me to the next level.

Your Weaknesses: I would say my weaknesses are map awareness and shotcalling. I just cannot simply lead a team with all the micro managing that my role comes with, but am willing to learn how to better if needed be. I can occasionally tunnel vision as well which can get me killed. I also have rotating issues. I either rotate too early or farm way too much. That is one i would like to fix badly.

Summoner Name: CADJ Briefly Tell Us Why You'd Like to Join: It seems like you have put a lot of thought and effort into your post and I like the dedication to finding a player who is a right fit. It also hopefully shows that the team environment is a good one where people are open to criticism and looking to improve. Briefly Tell Us About Yourself: Im a 23 year old living and workin in NYC. I have been playing league for almost 5 years now and was even on a sponsored team as the shotcaller and support player for about a year while i was still in college. I also have team experience in traditional sports, was the captain of my college ice hockey team as well. Looking to get back onto a team after a break from serious playing. Your preferred role: ADC Your Strengths: team fighting and macro play Your Weaknesses: tunneling during laning phase
