As a (previous) bronze player I thought being in Gold would be a big leap... guess not.

At least in bronze people would sometimes listen to your pings (most of the times if you spam ping them), but now in gold you can write 5 times in chat: you're getting 4 man top go b and ward, followed by 2 pings of retreat and they won't listen. Why does everyone have such a big ego past silver 1? Why won't you listen to your teammates pings? You think we enjoy pinging you and wasting time typing in chat to tell you to back off? We too also want to win the game it's not just you, and as much as you would want to "carry us" the least you can do is listen to some shot calling and pings to back off or to group around baron or don't gank i'm warded help other lanes. It's really getting to the point where those people due to their huge ass ego they end up rage quitting cause "all hope is lost" and "i dead 3 times in 5mins i can no longer carry this, we lost". This mentality is really bothersome for those of us that want to get out of this "ego elo".

Another part of "ego elo" is during champion select, say for example the enemy mid laner picked orianna or kayle, and you lock in zed cause you're a god at him. Buddy i honestly don't care that you 1 trick zed pick another champion, or even better yet counter pick them to dominate your lane. This has been a huge problem is that the game is already over before it has even started why can't people just trust their teammates for once and accept that other might have better game knowledge than you. Tl;dr some people have better game knowledge than you and also want to win, don't be obnoxious and stuck up and listen to your teams ping.
