I'm not looking for a boost or anything like that, but i would really appreciate someone that is around my skill level to play with. I know i can do good as a mid laner but i dont want to risk losing these precious games due to a silly team. It would be great to have a gold+ jungler to play with so i can do good and not have to worry about losing the other lanes. please comment if you are willing to play with me so i know who you are. I play akali mid and I'm looking to get ahri soon.

You put two ideas in a sentence that just don't match up. I've never been ranked and I do good mid. This isn't norms. Ranked is going to punch you in the mouth just like it does everyone who starts it. And I highly doubt any gold will play with you on account of if this is your first time ranked then you are most likely missing the knowledge concerning pushing lanes, freezing lanes, objective control, rotations, etc...

I think you should do your placements solo so you know where you're at, then look to see if someone wants to duo with you to climb where you want to be. After placements your mmr will still be pretty new and can easily change to help you climb fast if you think you get placed somewhere you don't belong.

I guess i should add that I'm looking for serious players that can help me out a bit and not some toxic kids on here that don't know me or have never seen me play before and bashing me for no reason. Best advice I can give is to just look for a few buddies and use voice comms during the games. Oftentimes, actual verbal communication can mitigate weaknesses of weaker players (have won like 70% of my games with duo discord buddies despite many of them being mid-bronze/unranked). Asking for someone above bronze on here can be quite risky on here, as unless the person is smurfing they'll either rarely take it seriously and/or "demand" that you carry them.
